Dior Spring 2014 Makeup Collection: More Information on Products and Shades

Ahhh, I'm so glad to be back on a real computer! *Hugs computer* I shall never leave you again...unless I absolutely have to.

Okay, moving on, here is more information on the Dior Spring 2014 makeup collection. For pictures of the complete collection, please check out my previous post HERE.

Source: Voce Magazine. I have translated the original article from Japanese into English. Note: my Japanese is rudimentary at best, so this was done with the help of a dictionary, an electronic translator, and some common sense.

The concept for Dior's Spring 2014 makeup collection is the ultra-feminine, and fresh, look of very pigmented yet soft shades for eyes, cheeks, and lips.

Nail Polish: From the Trianon collection. Inspired by the preferred texture of the ceramic of the 18th Century, the nail polishes apply matte initially, but the soft pearly finish would gradually appear as the formula dries on the nail.

Lipstick: Rouge Dior Collection. There will be four new shades -- two limited editions, and two will remain in the permanent color collection. The shades will be vivid yet wearable to play up a fresh complexion.

Blush: Trianon collection. There will be two shades -- pink and coral. While they will be pigmented, the finish will also be very soft and wearable, so the wearer can adjust how much pigment she'd like on her cheeks.

Glow Maximizer: Dior's new product -- the Glow Maximizer, promises to give skin the finish of airbrushed studio pictures. The product will have subtle pink-based pigmented with a fine gold finish; its purpose is to soften the appearance of fine lines, evens out skin tone, and brighten out your natural skin color.

Pore Primer: A makeup base that promises to eradicate pores, conditions the skin, and mattifies it. The texture is a bright pink beige, and will make pores invisible along with preparing the skin for foundation by making it matte. The formula also promises to smooth the surface of the skin and give a soft-focus effect.

Dior Show Fusion Object Mat Eye Shadows: The eye shadows will be extremely smooth and creamy in texture, despite being matte powder formula. They are to create the soft and delicate look on your eyelids. You may use the included brush or finger tips.

Trianon Edition Eye Shadows: There will be two limited edition shades -- a deep violet-purple and a minty-sage green. The finishes will be pigmented with a silky sheen, and very fine subtle glitters.

Trianon Edition 5-Couleurs Eye Shadows: There will be two limited-edition palettes. Every single shade from both palettes can be worn together effortlessly, allowing you to create the look you want.

Trianon Palette: There will be two limited-edition palettes in this collection as well. Each palette will arrive with three eye shadow colors, a blush (center), and a pigmented jet-black eyeliner.

Addict Collection Lip Glosses: There will be an abundance in new shades for these lipglosses! They promise to provide beautiful shine without the stickiness. There will be three Japan-only shades (Brillian Soiree; Etanseran; Spring Bar); 12 sparkling shades; 6 pearly shades; 6 "pure" shades (neither sparkly nor pearly).

Rouge Dior Serum de Rouge: A lip product that has the ease of application of a lipstick, but with the benefits of a lip gloss, resulting in a beautiful natural finish for your lips. The texture is light with long-lasting shades, and skincare benefits. There will be two new shades, as follow: Coral Serum and Gallant Pink Serum.

Dior Addict Lip Glow: Instead of adding colors to your lips, Dior claims that their Dior Addict Lip Glow, in a moisturizing formula, will pull out the natural tone of your lips, creating a fresh and natural appearance.
