My Life in Pictures: June 2014

Don't forget that I have a makeup giveaway going on! There will be three winners. Click HERE to enter.

I like to stay on-topic for my blog, which is about beauty and style, but I know that when I visit my favorite blogs, I like to see how their writers live, too. So, I thought that it'd be fun to summarize my life at the end of each month. :-)

Here is my life in pictures, for June 2014. I apologize in advance for some of the pictures; they're not the clearest because they were taken with cell phones. :-)

June 9th: My sons turned seven months old. We had a professional picture taken of them (I cropped Sean, my husband, out of this picture because he thinks readers would only want to see the boys anyway, haha).

Afterward, we dropped our boys off with my parents, who missed them very much, and went to see "Maleficent."

We also had Pinkberry frozen yogurt! :-) I had plain tart flavor, with mango, blackberries, and mochi. Sean had pineapple flavor, with fresh pineapple, kiwi, and shredded coconut.

June 14th: My husband, the boys, and I ran our first 5K race together as a family! Granted, the boys couldn't run yet, but we did push them in a jogging stroller. :-) The race was the LT 5K race, organized by Ladanian Tomlinson, and the money raised from the race went to Ladanian's organization for children.

Our medals for finishing the race! :o)

June 15th: We celebrated Father's Day. I made the card below for my husband, using a few of our favorite pictures of the boys from over the past seven months.

I also made him watermelon cupcakes. They were actually chocolate cupcakes with vanilla frosting, and chocolate chips that were made to look like watermelon seeds. :-)

June 16: I received an awesome package of goodies from the UK! You can see them here, if you haven't yet.

June 28: My family and I wanted to go to the San Diego Fair, but when we got there, we just didn't feel like attending the event anymore, so we drove out to Cabrillo National Monument in Point Loma instead, yet we didn't stay there very long either. This picture was taken from an earlier trip to Cabrillo last February, but the place still looks the same. ;-)

I can't believe that we live only a short 20-minute distance from this place. The weather really is this glorious where we live, 10 months out of the year! The other two months would have some light rain -- our "Winter."

Fun historical fact: The national monument was built in honor of Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo, who landed on our shore on September 28, 1592.

What about you? How has your month been?
If you have a blog, feel free to leave a link! I'd love to get to know my visitors. :-)
