Review of My One Direction Concert / Miami Adventure! Part 2

Part 3 with videos will be up later this week!

After we had finished nomming on our delicious treats, we got dressed for dinner. Of course, I wore my One Direction makeup! One thing I really love about the kits is that you can create so many different looks (they come with tutorials!), so you can be very conservative, like I am in my picture, or more adventurous. :o)

Most of the photo credit in this post goes to my cousin!

Shirt: Lush Jeans: American Eagle Outfitters Shoes: Steve Madden

We shared mussels cooked in a curry sauce, and each ordered pan-seared tuna! The food was so amazing, I'm feeling hungry all over again just thinking about it, hahaha.

In case you're wondering what my cousin is holding in one of the pictures, that's her "selfie stick" (you attach a cell phone to it, set the timer, and take pictures from afar! Lol).

After dinner was over, we hung out for a bit, and decided to go for a swim at 11 PM! Why not? The climate in Miami was lovely. Sorry about the picture quality for this one; we had been taking so many pictures that the phone battery was running low.

The next morning, we went down for a late breakfast. I had salmon, cheese, and an omelette (egg, spinach, tomato, mushroom, and feta cheese). They were so delicious that I had them again the morning after.

Afterward, we explored the resort for a bit, and found this little bird. I think it wanted to say "Hi!" :o)

There was also a cabana reserved for me as well in the Laguna Pool area, so of course, I went there and had a Pina Colada. Lol. Oh, hey, there's a poster of the guys in the background. :-P

That night, the concert happened!

My cousin and I were so happy to have Angel as our driver again. Angel was seriously the coolest driver, and had so many interesting and insightful things to say. He took us to the concert in a super nice car, which got a few stares from people.

"Who are these girls?"

:-P :-P :-P

Anyhow, we dressed super casually for the show, just because we knew there was going to be a lot of standing and moving around.

Guess who the opening act was?

5 Seconds of Summer, yay!

After 5 Seconds of Summer had finished, we had to wait for two hours before One Direction came on stage.

Seriously. Two hours.

By the time they even began to perform, it was already 9:45 PM, while 5SOS finished performing at 7:45 PM.

However, it was still a lot of fun!

Did I mention that we were really close to the stage? Really, really close.

Like all good things, the show eventually had to come to end. Because 1D performed so late, it was nearly midnight when we got back to the hotel, so we had a midnight dinner. I had the chicken salad, while my cousin had a sandwich.

We ate in our beds while watching "Forensic Files." There's nothing better than a delicious meal paired with "murder TV"! Lol.

The next morning, we packed our bags, and then headed out for breakfast. Since we had a few hours before we had to head back to the airport, we went to the Aventura Mall instead, and did some shopping! The mall was pretty incredible, but it was very similar to the ones we have here. However, I think that for many tourists, the Aventura Mall is a very exciting place to shop and explore.

I ended up trying on so many shirts at Nordstrom, and bought quite a few things. In the women's fashion department, I met a very nice sales associate named Irena.

What did I actually buy? Well, you'll have to wait for the next post, or else this will be the longest post ever. Lol.

Then, it was time to leave Florida!

The trip home was quite an adventure of its own, but I will stop here. Over all, I had such an amazing time! Many thanks to Markwins/Makeup by One Direction, the friendly staff at the Turnberry Isle Miami, and our driver Anibal Angel at USA Transportation!

Okay, enough about me. How have YOU been? What have you been up to? I've been so out of the loop! If you have a blog, feel free to include the link to it with your comment; I would love to visit. :o)

    1. I couldn't believe it either! They played for only 30-45 minutes, and quite a few girls said that they bought their tickets just to see 5SOS. I think they're going to grow even bigger in the coming year.
