Old Factory Romance Candles Review

I am a big fan of unique scented candles, so when I learned of Old Factory (it's a wordplay of "olfactory," which means the sense of smell!), I knew that I had to try their products!

Old Factory is unique in that each set of three candles follows a theme. For instance, the Vacation set has three candles in the following scents -- Sea BeezeHawaiian Lei, and AwapuhiMan Cave has candles that smell like Straight RazorLeather, and Mahogany. I have the Romance set, which comes with Rose PetalsChampagne, and Dark Chocolate

Another unique feature is that you can mix and match the scents, even if you have just one kit! Here are a few ideas on what you can do with the Romance set:
  • Champagne and Chocolate.
  • Champagne and Rose Petals.
  • Rose Petals and Chocolate.
  • Burn all three at once!
  • Burn one in a different room of the house!
Each Old Factor candle is made out of all natural soy wax, and is hand-poured in the United States! They burn evenly, are strongly scented, and are very long-lasting.

Also, the scents of my candles are so realistic, they're amazing! Rose Petals really does smell like freshly picked roses, Champagne has the effervescent, fizzy white grapes scent with hints of grape musk (that grape-peel quality in Champagnes and white wine), and Chocolate smells like rich, creamy chocolate without the "burnt" smell.

Each candle set arrives in a charming Old World cardboard box, with cute sayings printed outside and inside of it. Gift wrapping is available, too! These candles will make such unique gifts for the holidays season, for sure.

How to make your candles smell as good as they day you bought them:
  • Trim your wick frequently. The moment a piece of soot falls into the melted wax and sinks to the bottom, the scent is damaged.
How to blow out the candle without making your room smell like smoke:
  • While your candle is still burning, push the burning wick into the melted wax. The wax will swallow the smoke, not giving it a chance to enter your room. Once the fire is out, you may allow the wick to stand up again.
Where to buy: Old Factory candles are available exclusively on Amazon.com
Cost: $25.

    1. You're the first person I "met" who likes vanilla candles! :o) But then again, I don't usually go around asking people what scented candles they like. Lol.

  8. These sound good enough to eat! I love how they are made from natural soy wax and each scent really appeals to me! I love champagne chocolates compared to actually drinking it, and would love to get my hands on these! We don't have anything like this in the UK I don't think! :( xx

    1. Awww, yeah, I've been told that candles with interesting scents are harder to find over there. I predict that that will change in the near future, though, since there's an obvious demand for them. :o)
