Chanel Camelia de Plumes Review

Enter my international beauty giveaway HERE!

One of the most exciting purchases that I made over this winter is Chanel's Camelia de Plumes highlighter, which is part of the Chanel Winter 2014 makeup collection. This is a beautiful platinum shade, but it has some subtle warmth to it, so that it doesn't look like silver, and can be worn on any skin tone.

At first, I was reluctant to use this product because of the beautiful design, but makeup is meant to be worn and enjoyed, not collected. Thus, I have been using the heck out of this highlighter!

The design is supposed to be an embossed camellia flower, but it looks more like Art Deco palms to me.

Camelia de Plumes comes in a large compact, with a velvety pouch and high-quality brush! It is worth the price, in my opinion.

What I like about Chanel's Camelia de Plumes highlighter is that it does not accentuate my pores. It provides that "editorial" sheen that you see on models, and will make your cheekbones pop like crazy!

The lasting power is excellent; it stays on my face through blotting, touch-ups, etc., etc., until I wash it off at the end of the day!

Have you tried Chanel Camelia de Plumes? What is your favorite highlighter?

    1. Lol, I know. I'm compromising by using only one side of the product, while leaving the other side intact. :-P

  11. Oh my goodness, it looks absolutely beautiful!!! I love the way it shimmers. Does it look natural when you put it on your face as a highlighter? I know sometimes the highlighter has too many chunky pieces of glitter :)
