My Life in Pictures: Life on My Side of the Pond

For some reason, most of the blogs that I read (and bloggers that I'm friendly with) are based outside of the United States! I think that it's because I've always been interested in meeting people of different backgrounds, since I really like to learn about how other people live.

So, I thought that it would be fun to share a few snapshots that I took from around here, to give you a glimpse of my life! These pictures aren't of the greatest quality, because I took them unplanned with my phone.

A few months ago, Sean and I went to the annual Orange County Fair.

Poor Sean, he was so miserable in the heat because he's from the North East, where it seldom ever gets this hot.

There was an art exhibition at the fair, and this pencil drawing of Elizabeth Taylor was my favorite!

One of my favorite things to do when traveling abroad is checking out the local drugstores and supermarkets, just to compare them to the ones back home! So, I thought that my international readers might enjoy seeing how the beauty section in a typical American drugstore would look.

Here are a few pictures taken from our local drugstore -- CVS.

Wet 'n' Wild:

CoverGirl:

Neutrogena:

Revlon:

L'Oreal:

Physicians Formula:

Maybelline:

These pictures showcase only about 30% of the beauty selection at our local CVS store, but I couldn't just spend the entire day there taking pics without arousing some suspicion! Haha.

Not too long ago, I cleaned my bedroom and found the necklace that I made awhile back. I made it with gold parts, Swarovski crystals, and pearls.

Oh, hey, here's our family's "health and wellness" station! It has teas and supplements.

What have you been up to lately?
Feel free to share the link to your blog if you have one! I would love to visit. :o)

  3. I love doing that too. Going to the department stores and see what type of makeup is trending and popular in different countries. So much fun :)

    1. Yep! It's really interesting how even though other countries get most of the same products that we do, they wear them differently.

    1. Awww, I predict that stores like these will expand in other countries within the next few years! If there's a demand for them, they will come. Lol.
