Winter Beauty and Makeup Haul: Part 3

Don't forget to enter my international beauty giveaway HERE!
Hello! Hello!
Are you ready for another haul post? Of course you are!

Reviews for individual items with swatches will be posted later.

1) Chanel Camelia de Plumes highlighter: wow, this highlighter is amazing! It's a warmer platinum that is complementary on most skin tones. You need just a little bit on your cheekbones to look fabulous all day. This is a limited edition item for Winter 2014, so get it while you can!

2) Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet La Flamboyante lipstick: my most favorite lipstick formula ever, by far, is the Rouge Allure Velvet line from Chanel. The lipsticks are pigmented, longlasting, and are so velvety yet soft in texture.

La Flamboyante is a limited release item from the Winter 2014 collection, as well. Its name really suits the shade, as it is a very flamboyant tomato-red. However, as playful as the shade is, it is also very chic and feminine, instead of being a cartoon-y, caricature red like its more popular sister -- Revlon's Fire and Ice lipstick.

If you are going to get just one item from this collection, I would highly recommend getting the La Flamboyante. If you want to get two items, definitely the lipstick and the highlighter above.

3) Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Lipstick in La Romanesque: Yes, another dramatic (yet stylishly chic tone!) from Chanel. Don't be alarmed by the fuchsia-like shade, it is actually so soft and feminine once worn, and complements many different skin tones.

La Romanesque is a limited edition item from the Spring 2015 collection. Of the entire collection, this is the one item that I am most excited about.

4) Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch foundation primer: now that I no longer have oily skin, and it is now actually on the drier side, I definitely don't need Shiseido's Refining Makeup Primer anymore (if you have oily skin, you must try Shiseido's!). I find that for people with normal to dry skin, Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch primer is much better; it prepares your skin for foundation by smoothing out the skin surface, and minimizing pores.

5) Guerlain Shalimar eau de toilette: back in the 1920s, also known as The Jazz Age, there was a saying -- "There are three things a lady must never do -- smoke, dance the Tango, and wear Shalimar."

Guerlain's Shalimar has been around since 1925 and is a classic for a reason! The full review is coming soon!

Have you tried any of these?
