My Life Lately: Autumn in New England

What I enjoy most about New England is the beauty of each season. However, Fall is definitely my favorite season so far. While it is very chilly, it is still tolerable, and the scenery is so beautiful that I don't mind going outside to enjoy what the season has to offer!

Fall in New Hampshire is so beautiful that even the drive to work is pleasant:

It is also the perfect time to go apple-picking. You'd pay a small fee, and be given a basket or bag, which you can fill up with as many apples as you like! It's hard to see in this picture, but that's an apple tree behind my sons. :o)

Don't forget pumpkin-picking, too! My husband and I took our sons to a local farm and let them run loose. Being the outdoorsy boys that they are, our sons had the time of their life.

And, of course, we can't talk about Autumn without mentioning one of my favorite holidays -- Halloween! For Halloween this year, our sons dressed up as Curious George, while my husband was The Man With the Yellow Hat.

In case you aren't familiar with the characters, hehehe...

I hope that your Autumn has been wonderful! :o) Can you believe that this year is nearly over? Where did the time go? As always, if you have a blog, feel free to leave the link to it with your comment! I would love to visit.

  6. Aww, your kids are so cute! I love the different colors of the foliage in the fall, it's beautiful!

Great tips! I've definitely been guilty of falling asleep in my makeup in my younger days, and some deep cleansing + clay mask the next day really helps.

  7. I personally couldn't believe that this year is almost over but then again, it was hectic for us. With the migration from Malaysia to Canada in Sept last year and for me to finally settle down, it was overwhelming.

You have a gorgeous family and omg, your boys are angels! Too adorable!
