When Glamour Base and Travelmate Sheet Masks Reviews

Girls and guys, I have to tell you about two recent skincare discoveries that are phenomenalWhen's Glamour Base and Travelmate sheet masks!

As some of you may already know, I went back to working at a full-time, Monday-Friday job last month, after two years of staying home full-time to take care of my sons. The change in my daily schedule really took a toll on my skin, so When's sheet masks have really been a Godsend!

Today, I will talk to you about the two super awesome masks that have quickly become my favorites: Glamour Base and Travelmate!

But first, let's get to know When masks a bit better! They are sheet masks that are made to fit over your face, with openings cut out for your eyes, nose, and mouth. Each sheet is soaked in amazingly good-for-your-skin ingredients, which I wear for 30-45 minutes, before rubbing the remaining serum into my skin. There is no rinsing required!

Let's look at the Glamour Base mask: this one is perfect for when you have a special event to go to, and want your skin to look extra glowy, and your makeup to look extra gorgeous! But hey, you know what? I think that every day should be treated as a special event, so treat yourself to a When mask as often as you like!

One morning, I woke up a little bit earlier than usual, so that I could treat my skin to a pick-me-up treatment before getting dressed and doing my makeup. So, I took a shower, and while my skin was still damp, I placed When's Glamour Base over my face, and relaxed with a steaming-hot cup of English Breakfast tea. 45 minutes later, I emerged as a beautiful swan. Okay, not literally a swan, but my skin was sooo smooth and glowing! The makeup glided on beautifully, and lasted all day, too.

When's Glamour Base Ingredients: Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Citrus Grandis Seed Extract, Bambusa Textilis Stem Extract, Pinus Palustris Leaf Extract, Polyacrylate-13, Polyisobutene, Polysorbate 20, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, 1,2-Hexanediol, Colloidal Platinum, Ginsenosides, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-3, Adenosine, Fragrance, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil.

When's Travelmate mask is great for when you are traveling, because it helps your skin recover from the sun, wind, and dry air. However, you don't have to wait until you're actually traveling to use the mask! For example, after you've had a very fun day outside, especially now that the weather has warmed up, or after a long night of partying, or a long day at work, Travelmate is suitable, as well. Heck, or even after a long day of chasing the kids around!

This weekend has been very hectic for my husband and me, since we spent both days cleaning the house, while ensuring that our boys still received enough love and attention from us. This left me without much time to rest, so I treated myself to When's Travelmate because, you know, I needed it! My skin was seriously in need of some TLC.

I put the mask on and fell asleep with it still on my face, because I was so exhausted. When I woke up an hour later, my face wasn't as swollen or fatigued-looking, and my skin looked more alive. Overall, I just looked and felt very refreshed, and my skin felt so much softer and supple, too.

When's Travelmate mask ingredients: Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Citrus Grandis Seed Extract, Bambusa Textilis Stem Extract, Pinus Palustris Leaf Extract, Saccharide Isomerate, Polyacrylate-13, Polyisobutene, Polysorbate 20, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, 1,2-Hexanediol, Arnica Montana Flower Extract, Gentiana Lutea Root Extract, Archilea Millefolium Extract, Artemisia Vulgaris Extract, Colloidal Platinum, Ginsenosides, Fragrance, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil.

So far, I've been very impressed with When's sheet masks. While I love going to the spa for some R&R, it is just not something that I can easily do right now. Going to the spa means that I would have to drive for 45 minutes (sometimes 1 hour, if traffic is bad), dealing with rude drivers, finding a place to park my car, and by the time I'm relaxed enough from receiving a facial from the esthetician, it's time for me to pay her $100 + $25 tip, get back in my car, commute home for 45 minutes to 1 hour, dealing with traffic jam and rude drivers, and becoming stressed all over again. For me, it's just not worth spending $125 only to end up feeling even more stressed out than I did before my spa treatment! I'd rather pour myself a glass of Merlot or cup of hot tea, and relax in the comfort of my own home with a mask, lol. ;-)

  1. I agree with you, now working every day you need to take care of your skin and commuting for nearly 1 hour to go to a spa and paying around $125 is not OK, since you will be relaxed by the time you have to drive nearly 1 hour again! I loved the suggestion, When, especially the travelmate one :) I really would like to try this product and take with me whenever I am away! Hope you have a very nice weekend!

  2. I love using these kinds of masks at home - so true that it's super relaxing to just do in your own home. These masks sound so great!

  3. I am a sheet mask addict. I have so many sheet masks but still would love to add more to my stash. These look very promising. I will love to try them.

  4. These look promising. I have tried a few sheet mask and have liked them. Maybe I'll check these out next time.
